Last week we kicked off our Grand Prize Raffle ticket sales. Here’s how it works:
You buy a ticket, keep the left side, we keep the right with your contact information. Then, on Sunday, Aug 15 we’ll do the drawing for first, second and third prize winners. It’s that simple. And you don’t even have to be present at the event to win, how great is that?
Anyone can buy these tickets, not just skydivers. Prizes are as follows:
1st prize: Tandem and video package for two OR $500 in jump credit.
2nd prize: Tandem and video package for one OR $250 in jump credit.
3rd prize: Hot air balloon ride or jump OR 4 fun jumps (valued at $100).
Tickets are $5 or 3 for $10. Not a bad price for helping out a great cause.

I wanted to take time to thank Performance Designs for their support in this incredible cause. With their support, we are able to raffle off a custom canopy and raise a significant amount for diabetes research.
How are we doing this? Well, it’s easy. The first 100 people to donate $100 to the cause have a 1 in 100 chance of winning.
They can then place their order for a custom PD canopy or order from the stock list of any non-crossbraced canopy. Pretty nifty, eh?
Today they’ve gone a step further and have integrated their social media channels to promote this fun raffle. Check it out here: PD Facebook page.

Winners will be announced at the Jump for Diabetes on August 15 – but you do not have to be present to win! So this raffle is for anyone, anywhere!

You’ll also notice that you can now register online for the event. It’s $30 for skydivers to participate, this includes a t-shirt, raffle ticket and other goodies. Be sure to register early as there are limited goodie bags available.

This year, Jump for Diabetes has teamed up with Performance Designs to provide you with a unique raffle opportunity.

Yep, you read that right: Free. Custom. Canopy. From Performance Designs! How freakin’ awesome would THAT be?
Here’s how it works. The first 100 people to donate $100 or more to the Jump for Diabetes has a 1 in 100 chance of winning.
Even better – you don’t have to be present to win! So, even if you can’t attend the Jump for Diabetes this year (even though we’d LOVE to have you here) you can still win.
We’re taking donations via PayPal for ease of transactions. Soon we’ll have donation capability right here on the site, but until then, just send us an email at jumpfordiabetes@gmail.com with your contact information – name, address, email address and phone number – and we’ll send you an invoice for the donation. Once we receive the donation, we’ll send you the eTicket (via email) and a confirmation letter.

Well folks, it’s about that time – we’re gearing up for the 2nd annual Jump for Diabetes, held this year at Skydive Pennsylvania.
We’re very excited about this partnership! Last year was great, but this year we’re blowing it out of the water. As you can see, there are already lots of changes. We have a BLOG. Whoo! We’ve also got an active Facebook fan page, website, and skydiving blogger who will help promote this year’s event.
There’s going to be a lot going on, so be sure to stay tuned right here on the blog for the latest updates.
